What is a bullet point?
A bullet point is a type of mark used in writing to indicate a list of items. You can insert a bullet point by pressing the keyboard shortcut Windows + B (or CMD + B on Mac).
To create a bulleted list, start by selecting the cells you want to include in the list. To select multiple cells, hold down the CTRL key while clicking each one. Next, use the keyboard shortcut Windows + B (or CMD + B on Mac) to insert a bullet point.
How to insert bullet points:
When you write in a document, you may want to use bullet points to make your points more easily understood. There are a couple of ways to insert bullet points into a Google Sheets document.
The first way is to use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + A (Mac: Command + A) or Cmd + A (Windows). This will insert a new row at the bottom of the sheet with three columns and a text box for you to type in your text.
The second way is to go to the Format tab on the toolbar and click on the Bullets & Numbering button. This will open up a dialog box where you can enter the number of bullets that you want, as well as their positions and colors.
Either way, once you have inserted your bullet points, it’s important to remember how to format them so that they look good and make your points easy to read. You can do this by clicking on the Bullets & Numbering button again and tweaking their settings.
